Carnival Introduces New Family-Friendly Tech

The Ocean Tagalong digital companion — a new experience-enhancing addition to Carnival Corporation & Plc’s Medallion Class ships — will innovatively personalize and digitize cruise vacations. From initial registration to the end of the cruise, the Tagalong will follow passengers, interacting with them throughout their time on the ship. They will be available to guests online as well as through onboard Ocean Portals.

During registration, guests can select their Tagalong from an array of sea creatures and customize the companion’s physical features and traits. As a Tagalong interacts with a passenger, it can evolve and adapt to reflect the guest’s personality. It can also be used to engage in PlayOcean web games and interactive social games with other members onboard the cruise. 

The Tagalong debuted in November onboard Princess Cruises’ Regal Princess.
