Lindblad Launches National Geographic Global Explorers

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first citizen explorer expedition to the Galapagos Islands, Lindblad Expeditions – National Geographic has launched the National Geographic Global Explorers family program onboard the 96-passenger National Geographic Endeavour II and the 48-guest National Geographic Islander.

The program is designed to encourage travelers 18 and younger to participate in both independent and group experiences during their voyage. They can learn about the area by writing in their own field notebook and team up with naturalists for ongoing science projects. Young travelers will also learn how to create slow-motion and time-lapse videos with a National Geographic certified photo instructor and create a short film of their trip.
