Loews Sapphire Falls Resort welcomed its first guests in July, marking the opening of Universal Orlando’s fifth on-site hotel. The Caribbean-inspired, 1,000-room hotel, which features island-style decor paired with modern details, boasts the largest on-site pool at Universal Orlando Resort; the new Amatista Cookhouse restaurant; and tempting libations at Strong Water Tavern. Clients who stay on property will receive early park admission to Universal Orlando theme parks — including the all-new Volcano Bay waterpark, which will open next summer — and complimentary resort-wide transportation.
“Our goal was to make guests feel like they have been immersed in the charm of Caribbean culture,” said Russ Dagon, vice president and executive project director for Universal Creative. “Families will be transported to an island hideaway boasting the best features of the Caribbean, and just outside awaits Universal Orlando’s two incredible theme parks.”
