A Royal Invitation

Aug 05, 2008

Hawaiian Hotels & Resorts, which owns and operates Royal Lahaina Resort and Royal Kona Resort, is offering a number of special deals and packages for travel through December.

The Royal Lahaina Resort, which is located along Maui’s famous Kaanapali Beach, recently completed a $35 million renovation of its Lahaina Kai Tower. In the newly remodeled tower, each guestroom features plush linens; a flat-screen, high-definition television; refrigerator; and Wi-Fi and high-speed Internet access.

To encourage Oahu visitors to come to Maui’s shores, The Royal Lahaina Resort is welcoming them with a special Drive to Maui package. Guests who travel from Oahu to Maui using the Hawaii Superferry and book two nights at the resort will receive a $50 gasoline credit, reduced room rate, free room upgrade, free resort self-parking, free in-room safe use, free local calls and two free mai tai cocktails per day. Rates start at $170 per night, based on double occupancy, tax not included. Proof of Hawaii Superferry ticket purchase is required at check-in. Gasoline credits are given per room, per stay. Offer is valid for bookings made by Aug. 31 for travel through Dec. 17.

Also this fall, the Royal Lahaina Resort will offer an Aloha Reduced Rate special for its Garden View Cottages through Dec. 22. The newly redecorated oceanfront cottages give guests access to two oceanfront swimming pools, a tennis ranch, two restaurants, three bars, nightly torch lighting ceremony, oceanfront luau and complimentary scuba lessons. Room rate is $170 per night, based on double occupancy.

The 436-room Royal Kona Resort, which overlooks Kailua Bay in the heart of the Big Island, is also offering its own Aloha Reduced Rate valid for travel through Dec. 21. Rates start at $115 per night, based on double occupancy, for Bay Tower Standard View accommodations and at $135 per night for Bay Tower Ocean View rooms.

Guests who choose to stay five or more nights at the Royal Lahaina Resort will receive every fifth night free in select Garden Cottage and Lahaina Kai Tower Ocean View rooms. Specials may be reserved now through Dec. 12 and are valid for travel from Aug. 17 to Dec. 17. Through this offer, the nightly rate for a Garden Cottage starts at $156 on a pro-rated basis, per person, based on double occupancy. A minimum five-night, pro-rated stay in a Lahaina Kai Tower Ocean View room is $236 per night.

Both properties are also offering gasoline credit incentives, too, for packages booked by Aug. 31 for travel through Dec. 17. Gasoline credits are given per room, per stay and are posted to the guest’s folio at check-out.

At the Royal Kona, guests receive a $50 gasoline credit when they book two or more nights in a Bay Tower Ocean View room with a daily mid-sized car rental from Dollar Rent A Car. Rates start at $175 per night, plus tax. Rates for an oceanview accommodation in the newly remodeled Alii/Lagoon Tower start at $195 per night, plus tax.

Guests who stay two or more nights in an Ocean View room at Royal Lahaina’s Lahaina Kai Tower receive a $50 gasoline credit as well. Rates start at $235 per night, plus tax, including a daily, mid-sized car rental from Dollar Rent A Car.

All offers and discounts cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts offered at both properties.
