Alex O’Loughlin, Daniel Dae Kim and the rest of “Hawaii Five-0’s” stars may be easy on the eyes, but it's Oahu’s spectacular scenery that really shines in the CBS television series.

Each week, the detective show — a modern-day version of the original 1970s hit — does a great job of showcasing the island’s good looks. While it’s unlikely that visitors will encounter the cast and crew in the midst of shooting a scene, they can easily visit some of the same spots that they have seen on-screen.

For fans of Steve, Chin and the rest of the team, here are a few “Hawaii Five-0” filming locations that are open to the public.

Aliiolani Hale
This 1874 downtown Honolulu landmark houses Hawaii’s Supreme Court but, in the show, the exterior is billed as “Five-0” headquarters. A gold-gilded statue of Kamehameha the Great stands in its front courtyard.

Battleship Missouri Memorial
Visitors can tour the retired U.S. battleship that starred in “Five-0” at Pearl Harbor. The air base at Pearl Harbor has also been featured in the show.

Hilton Hawaiian Village
Chin rode his motorcycle in the porte cochere in one of the Hilton’s many “Five-0” cameos. Characters have gathered at its Tropics Bar and Grill, and scenes with Kamekono’s shrimp truck have taken place by the hotel’s lagoon.

Kualoa Ranch
The picturesque mountains and valley of this windward Oahu attraction often provide the backdrop for “Five-0” action. During Kualoa’s movie tour, visitors can walk into an old World War II bunker featured in the show’s South Korea episode.

National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl)
In the show, Steve visits his father’s grave at Punchbowl, which, in actuality, honors men and women who served in the U.S. armed forces. Its statue of Lady Columbia is featured in the opening credits of “Hawaii Five-0.”
