Pleasant Holidays has launched a new program offering an updated
list of Hawaii’s most popular activities for purchase before
customers leave for the Islands. These optionals range from luaus
and stage extravaganzas to helicopter and submarine tours. The
advance purchasing option is considered to add convenience for
customers.
When customers pre-purchase a sightseeing tour or activity for
their Hawaii vacation, a voucher will be included in their travel
documents. The voucher will then be exchanged for tickets at
Pleasant’s Activity Desks located in 40 hotels throughout
Hawaii.
“Pre-purchasing our optional activities saves our customers time
since they don’t have to research each activity, buy the tickets
when they arrive and make the arrangements to go,” explained Les
Gargan, Pleasant Holidays Public Relations Manager. “When they pick
up their tickets, our service reps are there to answer questions
about transportation to each venue to make it a hassle-free
operation.”
Commissionable to travel agents at 10 percent when pre-booked
through Pleasant Holidays, the activities offered include many of
Hawaii’s most popular, as well as a selection of new tours. Gargan
noted that the activities are all carefully selected to appeal to
different members of the family, from kids to seniors.
Included on Oahu are the Polynesian Cultural Center, Arizona
Memorial/Honolulu City Tour, Germaine’s Luau, Atlantis Submarine, a
new hiking/snorkeling/boogie boarding Eco Tour and a new
waterfall/circle island tour.
On Maui, travelers can pre-book the Ulalena Maui Myth &
Magic Show, Haleakala Sunrise Tour, a new La Perouse Dolphin
Adventure and a new Sky-Trek trip to Hana. Kauai selections include
a sunset champagne helicopter flight over Bali Hai, a new Wailua
River/Waimea Canyon tour and a half-day Napali raft tour. New to
the Big Island for pre-booking are the “Island Grill” sunset fun
cruise and Circle of Fire Hilo helicopter tour.
