Talk about scoring with a Hawaii vacation. Pleasant
Holidays, an official provider of travel packages to Hawaii’s NFL
Pro Bowl Weekend (Feb. 9-13), has created three money-saving
options for the popular Honolulu-based sporting event.
Each Pro Bowl package includes roundtrip airfare
from mainland departure cities, lei greeting, roundtrip hotel
transfers, accommodations in Waikiki, Pro Bowl game tickets, game
day stadium transfers (Sunday, Feb. 12), Pro Bowl VIP tailgate
party, Pleasant Holidays tote bag, breakfast orientation, Hilo
Hattie gift certificate and more.
And officials say Pro Bowl package bookings
increase each year.
“We are an official fan travel provider for the NFL
Pro Bowl, sending over 1,000 passengers to the event in 2005,” said
Jack Hornaday, manager of Pleasant’s group and incentive
department.
The tailgate party included in Pleasant packages is
the official NFL Pro Bowl Tailgate Party.
“Pleasant Holidays has an exclusive tent inside the
party with our own NFL players and cheerleaders,” he said. “It
includes multiple food stations as well as beer, wine and soft
drinks.”
Game tickets vary by package chosen.
“Guests purchasing the Platinum and Platinum Plus
packages also receive admission and transfers to the Friday night
VIP party at Aloha Tower Marketplace, Hornaday said. “Drinks, food
and entertainment are included.”
Pleasant’s basic MVP plan includes four-night
accommodations in Waikiki and upper-level sideline-section game
tickets starting at $1,179 per person.
The Platinum program covers a four-night stay at
the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort & Spa, lower-level
sideline-section game tickets and Official VIP party on Friday
night (including food, beverages and entertainment) from $1,689 per
person.
Kicking it up a notch, the Platinum Plus option
includes four nights in oceanview accommodations at the Halekulani
Hotel, club seating game tickets, VIP lei greeting and Official VIP
party on Friday night from $2,479 per person.
Rates quoted are for Los Angeles and San Francisco
departures, and are based on double occupancy. Land-only options as
well as additional room nights and extensions to other Hawaiian
islands, can also be arranged. Agents can pre-book optional
activities (luaus, helicopter tours, sunset sails, stage
extravaganzas, etc.) for Hawaii-bound clients on Pleasant Holidays’
Web site, and the add-ons are fully commissionable.
