The 26-year-old company continues to tailor individual luxury
vacations to a traveler’s specific needs, offering a full line of
vacation components hotels, car rentals, flight options, activities
and private transfers. Classic serves as a luxury travel resource
for agents, providing high-touch service and custom travel options.
To maintain the high quality of featured properties, Classic
personnel inspect and rate hotels in its portfolio annually.
Newly added resorts in Hawaii include Sheraton Keauhou Bay
Resort & Spa located just south of Kona on the leeward coast of
the Big Island; The Big Island’s Villages at Mauna Lani with luxury
condos and three-bedroom suites; Maui’s Polo Beach Club with
condominiums situated on a private stretch of west Maui beach; and
Outrigger Luana Waikiki condominium suites set at the entrance to
Waikiki. Rates at each property will vary with category booked and
additional travel components arranged.
According to Suzi LeVine, Classic’s vice president of sales and
marketing, these new properties will enhance an already extensive

Beyond accommodations, LeVine described other ways that Classic
customizes Hawaiian getaways.
“From exploring the Na Pali Coast by catamaran or snorkeling
near a protected reef, we offer clients a wide selection of tours
and activities,” said LeVine.
She added that Classic can arrange anything for extravagant
tastes, allowing travelers to explore the Big Island in a Hummer or
cruise the Kohala Coast in a 1957 Porsche Speedster through the
Aloha Exotic Car Rental program.
LeVine noted that Classic Hawaii policies benefit agents beyond
the booking. Perhaps the biggest bonus agents enjoy with Classic is
in its Best Price Guarantee, ensuring that the price-per-component
for air, hotel and car will not be more expensive than booking
directly with suppliers. The company also extends a Classic Hawaii
hotel policy, which includes the guaranteed best room in category
whenever possible and the ability to pre-register guests.
The newly improved Classic waiver is among the industry’s most
comprehensive change and cancellation protection program. Offered
free to travelers 17 and under, it includes peak season coverage
and change fees on published air.
The company also continues to provide incentives through its
Classic STAR (Special Travel Agent Rewards) program, allowing
agents to earn cash and travel rewards on qualified bookings that
include purchase of a waiver.
