Anara Spa at Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa has introduced a new menu of services crafted specifically to the needs of expecting mothers. The spa expanded its offerings in response to requests from many couples indulging in their last vacation together before their baby is born.
The Hapai (pregnant) Head to Toe Deluxe delivers a massage to hips, back and belly if desired, and a circulation-stimulating massage on legs, feet, arms and hands with organic mango butter.
The penultimate treatment, the Honi Honi Hapai Escape, provides a full body massage using organic coconut oil and warm stones to soothe overworked muscles, followed by a warm coconut milk scalp massage and a volcanic pumice scrub and cool stone rub on the feet.
Expecting mothers are positioned on body support cushions during treatments for comfort and relaxation.
With treatments blending native healing traditions and island botanicals, Anara Spa features rooms opening to their own private garden, open-air lava rock showers, sauna and steam rooms, a lap pool and a well-appointed fitness center, open 24/7. Open-air yoga, personal training and fitness classes are offered, and hydrotherapy can be found in the whirlpools and lava rock botanical baths.
