One of these resorts, El Dorada Maroma, has announced a new section within the resort called El Dorado Maroma Villas. Comprised of eight one-bedroom villa residences, El Dorado Maroma Villas are only steps from Maroma Beach. Villa guests are afforded the intimacy of a villa, while simultaneously having access to 24-hour room service, full-service concierge and beach butlers servicing poolside beach beds.
“We are very excited to introduce guests to El Dorado Maroma Villas, offering an incomparable combination of exclusivity and luxurious resort offerings,” said Mandy Chomat, vice president of sales and marketing for Premier Worldwide Marketing, the worldwide representative of El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels. “Not only will guests appreciate the spaciousness and comforts of the villa residences, they will have intimate access to their own private haven on renowned Maroma Beach, one of the most impressive beaches in the Riviera Maya.”
In addition, since the villas are an expansion of the resort, villa guests have the convenience of tapping into all the perks and activities at the adjacent all-inclusive resort. They will have the option to dine at any of El Dorado Maroma’s four restaurants including Papitos Gourmet Culinary Beach Club & Lounge, featuring an open kitchen and interactive culinary experience with views of Maroma Beach; Sabores, offering authentic Mexican Caribbean cuisine; Kiyoko, serving Asian-inspired dishes with chef interaction; and Mio Cuccina Italiana, providing intimate Italian dining. Daily activities at the resort include salsa dancing lessons, culinary courses and kayaking, as well as nightly entertainment including live music.
El Dorado Maroma Villas is a 40-minute drive south of the Cancun International Airport. The adjacent Marina Maroma offers a wide variety of water sports, deep-sea fishing and other activities. Easy-to-access activities include a selection of world-class championship 18-hole golf courses and archaeological attractions such as the Maya ruins of Tulum and the ecological park, Xcaret. If resort fever sets in, the lively beach town of Playa del Carmen is within reach, providing lots of opportunities for shopping, dining and nightlife.
Inside the VillasSo why should agents consider booking their clients into one of the new villas? In addition to privacy — potentially a huge consideration for honeymooners — each two-level villa residence sports a beachfront setting, private gardens, private pool and thatched roofs, which keep the vibe Mexican. The 1,200-square-foot accommodations have an open floor plan and spacious living areas. The ground level includes the living room, with a 42-inch LCD flat-screen television with satellite service and a Blu-Ray player. The contemporary kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a Nespresso coffee machine and is stocked with complimentary premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as snacks such as Haagen-Dazs ice cream bars. The villas also offer a dining area with private garden views.
The second floor of each El Dorado Maroma Villa features a master bedroom suite with a king-size bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow menu, as well as a reading area and office space. The master bath has a walk-in closet, an in-suite Jacuzzi, a double vanity and a marble walk-in shower. Each villa residence also has outdoor space including an oversized second-floor terrace with a sitting area and an outdoor bed with ocean views.
El Dorado Maroma Villas rates begin at $1,026 per person, per night, including the Gourmet Inclusive experience of premium a la carte meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, 24-hour room service and full service concierge, inclusive of taxes and fees.
