Radisson Kauai Beach Resort Discounts Couples Activities

Sep 02, 2004
A 25-acre beachfront property located on Kauai’s “Coconut Coast,” the Radisson Kauai Beach Resort is promoting a special discount off selected activities for any two people staying together at the hotel this fall.

Through Oct. 15, Radisson guests are eligible for the “Couples Discover Kauai Discount,” providing 50 percent off the second person’s activities. The promotion is available in conjunction with any hotel rate or package representing an additional value to the savings guests already receive when booking a package stay.

Couples can select from the following choices: Captain Andy’s Napali or sunset catamaran cruise; Captain Zodiac Napali boat tour; Waimea Canyon downhill biking, kayak tour or zipline adventure with Outfitters Kauai; HeliUSA helicopter tour; a round of golf at Kauai Lagoons’ Mokihana or Kiele course; surfing lesson with Kauai Surf School; and the Kauai Aloha Luau or South Pacific Dinner Theater at the Radisson Kauai Beach Resort. Guests are limited to two activities per person through the special offer.

“This is a great opportunity to experience Kauai,” noted Tom Bartlett, director of sales and marketing for the Radisson Kauai Beach Resort. “If they book select activities, they’ll receive a 50 percent discount off the second person’s activity. This can be booked through participating wholesalers or with the property directly.”

The Couples Discover Kauai Discount must be requested prior to arrival. Guests can pre-book their activities or wait until they’ve arrived at the hotel.

Activities are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Rack rates at the hotel start at $249 per night, but a variety of value-priced packages are available, including: “Bed and Breakfast in Paradise,” offering room and daily buffet breakfast for two starting at $169 per night; the “Honeymoon Spa” package, covering room, champagne on arrival, a $25 daily meal credit, two 30-minute massages and the fifth night free starting at $249 per night (five-night minimum stay is required); and the “Kauai on Wheels” plan, providing room, compact rental car use and daily buffet breakfast for two starting at $199 per night. All rates are through Dec. 20.

Bartlett added that this “Couples Special” can also be combined with the hotel’s new “Kauai Scuba Adventure Package.” The scuba plan covers deluxe accommodations, PADI scuba certification program for two people, airport shuttle transportation to and from the hotel, invitation to a nightly Manager’s Cocktail Party, nightly torch-lighting ceremony with Polynesian dance show and complimentary tennis on the hotel’s four courts. Based on double occupancy, the five-night package is priced from $1,195 for two.

“Kauai has one of the top six dive spots in the world according to Outside magazine,” commented Bartlett. “So this is an experience divers don’t want to miss.”

The Radisson Kauai Beach Resort features 340 rooms, seven suites, complete meeting and banquet facilities, three restaurants, boutique spa and fitness center, tennis courts, a three-pool complex and an additional “sandy bottom” pool.
