Classic Custom Vacations Launches Classic Suitener

Feb 01, 2005
Classic Custom Vacations has launched its new Classic Suitener program that rewards agents throughout the year with booking bonuses, incentives, special offers and free suite stays for top-producing agents.

Running throughout 2005, the program will provide travel agents a $50 bonus when booking a minimum five-night suite stay at over 50 participating hotels throughout Hawaii, Mexico, Europe and the Caribbean. In addition, top-producing agents will be eligible to earn free five-night suite stays at participating properties when they meet the minimum-booking threshold.

Program details and other terms and conditions along with a comprehensive list of participating hotels can be found at www.classicforagents.com/suitener.

“This program further distinguishes Classic as the premier source for booking luxury travel,” says Suzi LeVine, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Classic Custom Vacations. “Our expertise in the luxury market offers agents access to one-of-a-kind suites and villas, and rewards them for providing their discriminating clientele with the type of service they have come to expect.”

LeVine continued, “Classic Custom Vacations was created to serve the travel agency community. Travel agents are critical to the luxury market. and their role in bringing visitors to the designations we serve is vital. We appreciate their commitment to their clients and to Classic, and we remain committed to them.”

The $50 booking bonus will be paid on a quarterly basis, and all bookings must include the purchase of the Classic Change & Cancellation Waiver. Room-to-suite upgrades will not apply.

Top-producers earn free stays

LeVine feels the new program will benefit both agents and their clients. “Classic is all about luxury - and this helps remind agents that when they think of suites, they think of Classic,” she explained. “It’s also a reminder to agents to upsell to suites - as they make more money both in commissions and now with Suitener.”

She also noted that Suitener is incremental to Classic’s STAR program. “Agent’s sales are still eligible for STAR points. With a $50 booking bonus plus the opportunity to enjoy a stay similar to their clients, we want agents to have even more reason to sell Classic and to sell suites.”

The Suitener Program’s annual free-stay awards will be based on the number of traveled bookings in 2005, and will be awarded in January 2006. To be eligible for earning the free stays, travel agents must meet the minimum threshold of five bookings per year (25 suite nights or more) for any given hotel. Agents will be eligible for one free stay only. Agencies or individual agents are responsible for any taxes and fees associated with the suite stay award.

The top-producing agents booking the most eligible suite stays within each of Classic’s four destinations will be awarded a five-night stay in a suite and two roundtrip coach airline tickets on American Airlines to the respective destination and participating hotel in which they had the most bookings.

In addition, the top-producing agent for each participating hotel will be awarded a five-night stay in a suite at that hotel, provided they reach the minimum-booking threshold.

Special suite offers to celebrate launch of Classic Suitener

Classic has launched the year-round Classic Suitener program by joining with several participating partners to also deliver limited-time suite offers. These packages afford travelers value-added offers and special savings off regularly published rates.

In Mexico, participating properties include Fairmont Pierre Marques, Fairmont Acapulco Princess, Fiesta American Grand Aqua Cancun, JW Marriott Cancun, Presidente InterContinental Cozumel, Paraiso de la Bonita, Casa de la Bonita and Casa del Mar. Classic will be maintaining up-to-date information regarding these specials on the Suitener website.

“Classic is fully dedicated to Mexico,” LeVine added. “This year, we added 14 new properties to our Mexican portfolio, and introduced Intra-Mexico airfare to make regional travel in Mexico easy. And through our Classic Mexico Price Guarantee, we’ve ensured agents that price-per-component, Classic will never be more expensive than going direct to suppliers.”

Classic creates customized vacations by offering a full line of vacation components hotels, car rentals, flight options, activities and private transfers.
