Mazatlan Tourism Board has announced that it will be investing upward of $1 million into the city’s Golden Zone, a heavily touristed area. The million-dollar investment will go toward the construction of new roads, sidewalk renovations and the addition of signs to aid pedestrians. This project includes updates to the central roundabout where Avenida del Mar, Rafael Buelna and Shrimp Chad streets intersect.
