Anderson Vacations partnered with Travel Alberta to offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience to some of their preferred travel agent partners. Agents were invited to ride the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver, B.C., to Whistler, B.C., during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games held in Vancouver. The Rocky Mountaineer offers 360-degree views via a glass-domed roof, meals made to order — and on this journey — an open bar.

Two sales managers from Anderson Vacations were also onboard to host the agents, and the experience was certainly not lost on them.

Besides travel industry delegates, passengers onboard the train ranged from government officials and prominent Alberta businessmen to Olympic Gold Medalist Katarina Witt and Alberta country singer Aaron Lines.
