The National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) has revised its application process to accept only career travel agents who are established and actively selling travel to the public.
Requirements for the new application include: must be a professional travel agent actively selling retail travel to the public; must be in compliance with all government, federal, state and local laws including state seller-of-travel laws; must certify that their business has Errors & Omissions insurance coverage; and must provide a valid booking identification number or travel seller number. www.nacta.com
