JetBlue Airways and Icelandair have announced a new interline partnership. The partnership opens up new travel opportunities for customers connecting between JetBlue's network in the U.S. and the Caribbean and Icelandair destinations throughout Scandinavia, the U.K. and Europe. Customers are now able to book a single combined ticket for JetBlue and Icelandair-operated flights with one-stop check-in and baggage transfer between the two airlines.
Starting June 1, twice-daily flights will be added to Icelandair's gateway cities of Boston and New York/JFK. Nonstop service to Reykjavik from Washington/Dulles begins on May 17. Icelandair also offers nonstop connections from Reykjavik to destinations in Scandinavia, including Billund and Copenhagen, Denmark; Bergen and Oslo, Norway; Gothenburg and Stockholm, Sweden; Helsinki, Finland and more.
