The Affluent Traveler Collection started the New Year with a spectacular 10-day fam trip in Egypt sponsored by STI Travel. The hosts of the trip — Jane Masterson, director of sales for STI Travel USA, and Elizabeth Grundon, senior director of business development for The Affluent Traveler Collection — led 10 travel agents to visit the Great Pyramids and Sphinx, the Cairo Museum and various temples in January. The agents also were able to take a three-day river cruise down the Nile and go scuba diving. Additionally, site inspections of the JW Marriott, Sonesta Cairo Hotel Tower and Casino, Four Seasons Nile Plaze and Conrad Cairo were on the agenda for the participants.
