Anyone Can Explore Europe. A Fortunate Few Do So Aboard a 5-Star Floating Hotel.

Oct 08, 2008

Deilmann’s vessels boast the best passenger to crew ratio operating in Europe.  With only 2.5 guests for each crew member, Deilmann offers a better level of food and service and is the only river cruise line that staffs a physician on every voyage.  Staterooms are graciously appointed and all vessels have smoke-free interiors.

There are eight vessels to choose from offering 7- to 14-night cruises:

The 110-passenger Heidelberg and 96-passenger Casanova sail on mostly 7-night cruises on the Rhine, Moselle and on Dutch and Belgian canals visiting Amsterdam, Cologne, Basel, Strasbourg and the wine towns of Bernkastel, Cochem and Trier on the smaller Moselle River. Ghent, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bruges and Brussels are destinations on roundtrip sailings from Amsterdam.

The Casanova also offers two 14-night grand cruises between Amsterdam and Budapest.

The 200-passenger Mozart and the 96-passenger Casanova sail on the Danube, round-trip from Passau (Munich) and offer overnight stays in Vienna and Budapest. In addition, Mozart offers 10- and 11-night Danube cruises from Passau to Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava and other cities and towns to the Black Sea in Romania.

The 100-passenger Cezanne sails weekly from Paris on the Seine, which includes an overnight stay onboard while in Paris. Also in France, Deilmann offers round-trip Rhône and Saône river cruises from Lyon on the 148-passenger Princesse de Provence to the Burgundy and Beaujolais wine region and the Provencal cities of Avignon and Arles.

The Frederic Chopin and Katharina von Bora, both 79-passenger ships, sail alternately from Prague and Potsdam (Berlin) on 7-night cruises on the Elbe River. Lively Berlin and the Czech capital of Prague are the beginning and culmination of these voyages to historic places that include Wittenberg, Meissen and Dresden. The 106-passenger Dresden also cruises the Elbe, but sails instead between the Baltic Coast city of Hamburg and Dresden.

Seven-night river cruises begin at $1,625, per person twin in the April, October and November value seasons. For a brochure or more information, call 1-800-348-8287 or visit us on the web at www.deilmann-cruises.com.
