Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection's 2010 Europe itineraries are now open for group bookings. The 2010 Group Planner offers generous group discounts and a complimentary tour conductor berth that can be earned with as few as six guests. In addition, group passengers who book and deposit, or pay in full on or before June 30 will receive 2009 pricing with the pre-season Early Booking Discount or the Pay in Full Savings offer (based on payment received at time of booking). Name changes are allowed up to 45 days prior to departure for cruise and category only.
The line’s Group Privilege Program includes group discounts on all Uniworld 2010 Europe Boutique River Cruises and a choice of amenity: a complimentary one-hour cocktail party based on a minimum of 20 guests; a shipboard credit for $50 per guest based on a minimum of 10 guests on select Europe sailings; or a wine-and-fruit plate with a minimum of 10 guests.
Uniworld’s group bookings typically appeal to reunions of family and friends, affinity organizations, social gatherings or company incentive programs. With more than 500 departures annually on more than 40 itineraries sailing on 12 rivers in more than 20 countries throughout Europe, Egypt, China, Russia and the Ukraine, there is plenty to choose from.
The line’s company-owned ships, with an average capacity of 134 guests, feature riverview staterooms with hotel-style beds, Egyptian cotton linens, cashmere/wool blankets and European-style comforters. Bathrooms are stocked with plush robes, thick towels from Christie’s of Manchester and L’Occitane amenities.
All meals are prepared fresh daily onboard, with complimentary wine, beer, and soft drinks during dinner, bottled water in the staterooms and 24-hour specialty coffees and teas. Wi-Fi and complimentary bicycles are also provided.
The all-inclusive Uniworld experience also features shore excursions hosted by local English-speaking guides who use a Quietvox portable headset system to enhance guests’ sightseeing experiences.
