Wellness warriors, take note: Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz., is upping its spa game. The resort unveiled three new spa treatments this month: the limited-edition Harvest Honey Ceremony, the Vasudhara water treatment and the interactive Path of the Jaguar experience.
The invitation-only 80-minute Harvest Honey Ceremony will have clients exfoliating with chia seeds before relaxing with a personal honey mask that is made with ingredients sourced from 20 on-property hives.
Vasudhara, which begins at $285, is a sensory-deprivation experience; clients don a blindfold and noise-canceling headphones and will be submerged in water while they receive a Thai massage and listen to an underwater speaker.
Finally, the Path of the Jaguar, which is $205 for 50 minutes, encourages guests to conquer their fears; therapists use chakra-clearing methods to expel negative energies into crystals. The experience is led by a Shamanic healer, and the crystals are then buried on property.
