This fall, Beaumont, Texas, offers something for everyone looking to enjoy the season.
From Sept. 1 to Nov. 17, visitors can sail along the Neches River on Saturdays with Neches River Adventures. Guests will learn about the unique ecosystems along the river, which are home to more than 200 tree species, 47 mammals, 300 birds and various reptiles and amphibians.
The Texas Pecan Festival will take place Sept. 20-23, with carnival rides, games and activities for the whole family. The weekend will also include cuisine from local vendors, from Cajun barbecue to pecan pie.
From Oct. 3-7, visitors can attend the Texas Rice Festival in Winnie, which includes a celebration of the rice harvest with family entertainment and a Barbecue Cook-Off.
Later in the season, Beaumont will offer A Very Merry Main Street Market so that clients can get a head start on holiday shopping. From Nov. 29 to Dec. 2, festivities will include Holiday Happy Hours with early bird shopping, cocktails and raffles, an annual Holiday Luncheon with a style show and a gingerbread house workshop.
