Earlier this month in St. Louis, the National Tour Association (NTA) held
its signature event, Travel Exchange. More than 1,000 travel and tourism
professionals attended the event to conduct business appointments, partner
on packaged tour itineraries and participate in professional development
and networking events.
The NTA presented multiple awards during a luncheon, including the Bob
Everidge Lifetime Achievement Award, the NTA Pioneer Award, Top 5 Young
Professionals and more.
Additionally, destinations and tour suppliers in 12 categories were awarded
"Courier's Distinguished Dozen." The winners of the NTA magazine's awards
program, now in its sixth year, were voted on by NTA tour operators on
criteria including quality of tour product, level of customer service and
dedication to relationship-building.
