When the Swiss go on vacation, they go to Lugano. That was one of the messages delivered during a recent series of events promoting Lugano, the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
Lugano Region, Ticino Tourism and Switzerland Tourism hosted the gatherings, which included wine from Ticino and regional specialties — such as risotto and focaccia — prepared by Mauro Grandi, chef at The View Lugano.
Attending media and travel advisors met with representatives from the area’s top hotels including The View Lugano, Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola, Hotel De La Paix, Hotel Lugano Dante Center and Hotel Zurigo Downtown.
