Jackie Friedman, president of Nexion Travel Group, was celebrated for a career that has included working as a frontline travel advisor, 16 years as president of Nexion and launching the Travel Leaders of Tomorrow training program. Avoya Travel’s co-founders, Brad and Van Anderson, were honored for pioneering Avoya’s innovative platform model and inventing Live Leads, a patented lead distribution system. A third award went to Stanley and Beatrice Tollman, whose family business began as one hotel and grew to encompass the 40 brands of The Travel Corporation, as well as the nonprofit TreadRight Foundation.
