The Future Leaders in Travel Retreat, powered by TravelAge West, is excited to announce that  travel advisor applications are now open for the 2023 event. The retreat will take place at the Hyatt Ziva/Zilara Rose Hall in Jamaica from Aug. 27-30, 2023.

Future Leaders is a fresh event for the next generation, dedicated to connecting travel buyers and sellers between the ages of 22 and 37.

“Each year, we receive hundreds of applications from advisors who are on track to take our industry to the next level,” said Jacquie Hurst, Director of Trade Recruitment and Engagement for Travel Weekly and TravelAge West Events. “It’s so impressive to see what they’ve already accomplished and where they are looking to take their businesses in the future.”

During the four-day event, advisors and suppliers have the opportunity to build authentic relationships through collaborative content sessions, small-group meetings, outdoor activities and social events full of local flare. Education focuses on professional development and provides insights on how this generation will influence the future of our industry. Attendees leave Future Leaders with both new ideas for conducting business and professional relationships for life.

Candidates for Future Leaders demonstrate ambition, drive and passion for the industry. They’re excited about impacting the future of travel and inspired to find completely new and better ways to sell travel.

To be considered for the event, advisors must provide details on annual bookings and industry experience, in addition to supplying one industry reference with contact details. Accepted participants are fully hosted and receive access to all event programming, including meetings with supplier participants. Learn more about the event and complete an application by visiting www.futureleadersintravel.com.
