The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has announced The Summit, a new leadership-focused event aimed at gathering decision-makers from across the travel industry. The program will take place Oct. 14 -16 in Denver at the Sheraton Downtown Denver.
The Summit is designed as a unified experience structured around two core tracks — the Corporate Ascent and the Leisure & Luxury Ascent — each with tailored content for these distinct sectors of the market.
The Corporate Ascent (formerly ASTA’s Corporate Travel Executive Forum) will center on the evolving managed travel landscape, with the forum discussing topics such as airline strategy, distribution challenges, shifting commercial models and growing traveler expectations. Meanwhile, the Luxury & Leisure Ascent will explore changes in the consumer travel space, including emerging booking trends, developing client needs and new approaches to strategizing advisory businesses.
“The Summit is designed for travel leaders who understand the value of being in the right room with the right people,” said Zane Kerby, president and CEO of ASTA. “This event brings together the executives, agency leaders and partners driving the industry forward. When your peers are here, when the conversations shaping what comes next are happening here, this becomes a gathering you simply cannot afford to miss.”
Among the confirmed speakers is Bob Somers, senior vice president of global sales at Delta Air Lines, who brings decades of experience in corporate travel, along with executives from Moderna, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Accelya and Spotnana. Together, they reflect a range of perspectives across finance, technology and travel operations.
The Summit will take advantage of its Rocky Mountain setting with experiences designed to deepen engagement and strengthen connections. Special excursions will include Red Rocks Reset, centered on clarity and renewal, as well as The Summit Classic, offering attendees the opportunity to golf at an exclusive course. Complemented by receptions, networking gatherings and shared dining, the program is designed to create space for authentic dialogue and high-value peer exchange.
Registration for The Summit is now open, with limited capacity.
