Location and History

This locally-owned, historic hotel has been housing travelers for nearly 100 years and is still owned by the same family. The airy cafe and terrace fronting the hotel was established at the same time as the hotel, making it one of the oldest cafes in the city. In 1911, the hotel opened with 35 rooms. The following year, two adjacent buildings were added, bringing the room count up to 78 total.
