The Motto hotel occupies an impressive historic building on Mariahilfer Strasse, Vienna's main shopping street. It's 30 minutes by car from Vienna-Schwechat Airport.

This hotel may be new, but its building has a long history and has been welcoming guests since 1665 when it opened under the name The Golden Cross, later reopening in 1872 as Hotel Kummer. Johann Strauss lived in the same building.
