Why It MattersWith this major move in support of its advisors, ASTA is once more putting its money where its mouth is. A leader in providing tailored, cost-effective insurance solutions, AHP has 30-plus years of experience serving national associations. Note: A number of states do not currently offer this coverage due to state law, including California, Hawaii, Alaska and more.

- ASTA-member independent contractors are also eligible to participate.
- The program’s beta testers have reporter insurance premium savings of up to 40%.
- Besides health insurance, ASTA members may purchase through the plan other types of insurance coverage, including dental, vision, disability, life, accident, long-term care and Medicare supplements.
- Due to restrictions under state law, this health insurance coverage is currently unavailable in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.
What They Are Saying“At ASTA, we are constantly looking for ways to strengthen the value we provide to our members, and putting an association health plan in place is a huge achievement in this regard,” said Zane Kerby, president and CEO of ASTA. “This program will allow individuals and small business owners to obtain coverage at group rates much more favorable than if purchased individually — indeed, some of our ‘beta testers’ have reported premium savings of up to 40%. We encourage our members to explore coverage under our plan and enroll if it works for them, and encourage non-members to join today to get access.”
