What
Apple Leisure Group (ALG) recently announced the addition of multiple agent-friendly tools, including the company’s newly launched Royalties Xchange advisor loyalty program and a new customer service callback feature.

Why It Matters
For advisors, time is money, and ALG’s new callback feature shows that the company is committed to providing agents with efficient time-management solutions and other resources that will help them succeed. The Royalties Xchange loyalty program further incentivizes agents to book with ALG; those who sign up for the program can accrue points on a Virtual Visa card to be redeemed for retail- or travel-related purchases.

Fast Facts
- The Royalties Xchange program was launched on on Dec. 10.

- Advisors in the Royalties Xchange will get a new Virtual Visa card that features a credit card number, expiration data and security code and can be redeemed anywhere Visa is accepted.

- The card’s conversion of points in real-time extends to retail sales, promotions and special discount offers.

-ALG’s call-back feature was rolled out to Funjet Vacations, Southwest Vacations, Blue Sky Tours and United Vacations in November.

- If the caller opts to receive a call back, the system will hold his/her place in the line-up and will call back when the customer is next in line.

- If a call cannot be immediately answered, callers will receive an estimated hold time; if it is five minutes or longer, they can choose to continue to hold or to receive a call back.

What They Are Saying
“The newly-enhanced program is designed to provide travel advisors with more ways to take unrestricted advantage of Royalties Points for any items they wish,” said John Tarkowski, president of Apple Vacations.

“ALG Vacations Corp. is committed to providing excellent customer service, and we believe the new call-back technology now available for Funjet Vacations, Southwest Vacations, Blue Sky Tours and United Vacations is just another way we can make the travel agent’s experience even better when booking with us,” said Tracy A. Genrich, director-contact center B2B at Apple Leisure Group.
