Abercrombie and Kent has expanded its portfolio of 2011 Family Holidays. The 2011 Family Holidays brochure now includes 17 small-group escorted tours, including two brand-new escorted itineraries inspired by the brand’s most-requested FIT itineraries to Israel and Turkey.
The new 10-day Israel: Ancient Icons For All Ages tour is priced from $4,755 per person, based on double occupancy. It takes families throughout Israel, including the Sea of Galilee and the Crusader halls of Akko. In the new Turkey: A Cultural Adventure tour, families spend 11 days participating in such hands-on activities as cooking and making pottery. This tour is priced from $6,310 per person, based on double occupancy. Discounted rates for children under age 12 traveling with two adults are also available for both tours.
Additionally, Abercrombie and Kent is offering new private Tailor Made tours designed especially for families. These include Mystical India; From Machu Picchu to the Amazon; Yucatan Adventure; and Alpine Summits and Shores.
And, for families interested in contributing to the local communities that they visit, Abercrombie and Kent also offers opportunities for travelers to participate in its Philanthropy programs on select Family Holidays tours. On the 10-day Mysteries of Morocco tour, for example, clients can visit a shelter for homeless children. On the 11-day Kenya Family Safari, clients can donate supplies to a local Maasai school.
