In a 2008 TripAdvisor survey of 2,400 families, 51 percent said that money is the biggest barrier when it comes to taking family vacations. Nearly one-third said staying on budget was one of the hardest parts of taking a family vacation.
So, to help keep families in line — and on budget — TripAdvisor compiled a list of their top 10 family-friendly bargain hotels in the U.S.
"These hotels are great for families and easy on the wallet," said Michele Perry for TripAdvisor. "Outstanding pools are what really set these properties apart and, when planning trips with kids, it’s nice to be able to save some money where you can."
