The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) will host the inaugural AdventureElevate in Snowmass, Colo., at The Westin Snowmass Resort on June 7-8. A two-day intensive educational and networking conference, the event will bring together industry professionals and practitioners to discuss the trends that shape the adventure travel industry. It will focus specifically on developments concerning North American business needs.
The event will feature several keynote sessions, including “Adventure Travel & the Peer-to-Peer Economy” with Erik Blachford; “Adventure Business: A View From the Top of the World” with Conrad Anker; and “People Powered: Offline Strategies in a High-Tech World” with Harry Peisach. The programming will also feature sessions on technology, marketing and operations specific to the needs of the adventure travel industry.
"It's like going to a little business school — just for adventure," said Katie Losey, marketing manager for Absolute Travel.
In addition to educational programming, the conference will host plenty of networking sessions. ATTA has also partnered with Snowmass Tourism to offer 11 different adventure travel itineraries for industry professionals to experience prior to the conference. These are available at a discounted rate and can be chosen once registered for Elevate.
