Borton Overseas recently unveiled a new line of Signature Journeys for 2017. One new itinerary, Ultimate New Year’s Eve in Iceland, includes the opportunity for guests to ring in the New Year beneath the Northern Lights.
After departing from Minneapolis, clients will make their way to the country’s capital, Reykjavik, which is home to coastlines, lava fields and Gunnuhver, the country’s largest mud pool. Optional excursions throughout the six-day tour include whale watching, horseback riding and touring Iceland’s famously majestic landscape. Then, on New Year’s Eve, clients can opt to either experience the Northern Lights or explore sites from the popular television series “Game of Thrones.”
The rate begins at $2,875 per person and includes roundtrip economy airfare on Icelandair from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, accommodations, transfers, daily breakfast and entrance fees.
