A 15-day trek to the Everest Base Camp in Nepal is scheduled to begin on April 12, 2016. Hosted by Ace the Himalaya, the trek will raise money to renovate a school damaged in the April 2015 earthquake, as the one-year anniversary of the disaster coincides with the trip. For every booking, $100 will be donated and used to help rebuild the school, which is located in the biggest town on the Everest base camp route. While in Nepal, travelers will stop at Namche Bazaar to help the builders and laborers with the renovation project.
Clients will be divided into groups of 14, each with their own guide, porters and lodging. The rate is $2,000 per person, based on double occupancy.
