Think your client is ready for a glamorous South Seas getaway? Specials to the region abound, which means booking a package has never been easier or more affordable. Below are a number of travel deals, but keep in mind that wholesalers — including Tahiti Legends and Islands in the Sun — can also be contacted directly for more offers and to customize itineraries for your clients.

Romantic Getaway
Clients looking to rekindle a romance can book a six-day South Seas vacation starting from just $2,599 with Islands in the Sun. The trip includes a romantic stay at the five-star Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa, which was recently named one of TripAdvisor’s Top 5 Resorts for Romance in the World. Guests will enjoy a stay in one of the resort’s garden bungalows with a private plunge pool, or they can choose to upgrade to one of French Polynesia’s famous overwater bungalows. The package, which must be booked by Nov. 23, also includes international airfare from LAX on Air Tahiti Nui, one night in a Deluxe Ocean View Room at the Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti, daily breakfast, a lagoon excursion and roundtrip inter-island ferry transportation.

Sail the Islands for Half Off
North American travelers interested in exploring the South Pacific by sea can sail to exotic locales such as Tahiti, Fiji and the Cook Islands onboard the m/s Paul Gauguin, the longest continually sailing luxury cruise ship in the South Pacific. Better yet, clients can save 50 percent on all standard cruise fares on the m/s Paul Gauguin during 2014 and 2015. Itineraries include a seven-night Tahiti & Society Islands cruise, which stops at the “Garden Island” (Huahine), as well as Bora Bora, a private islet off the coast of Tahaa, and Moorea, which is said to be the model for Michener’s “Bali Hai.” Or, travelers can enjoy an 11-day cruise that departs from Fiji’s Viti Levu island and calls at New Caledonia and Vanuatu before returning to Fiji. All 50-percent-off itineraries include international airfare from LAX.

Two Island Treat
Guests who prefer to experience more than one Fijian resort can take advantage of Tahiti Legends’ Two Island Treat offer. The seven-night package includes four nights at the Outrigger on the Lagoon - Fiji in a Deluxe Ocean View room and three nights at Castaway Island Fiji in an island bure (bungalow). On site, guests can enjoy a one-hour massage at Outrigger’s Bebe Spa and a Dolphin Safari Tour for two at Castaway Island. Starting from $3,449 per person, the package also includes international airfare from LAX, ground transfers to Outrigger on the Lagoon, a helicopter transfer between the two resorts and a water and ground transfer back to Nadi International Airport.

Tahiti for a Song
Clients who like to plan in advance can save big money on Air Tahiti Nui, the official flagship carrier of the islands of Tahiti. During the airline’s open-ended “super value” season, passengers who book at least 120 days in advance can save up to 20 percent on normal ticket fares. With the promotion, roundtrip airfare between Los Angeles and Papeete starts at $1,319 per person, which includes taxes, fees and fuel surcharges. Family travelers can save even more by booking the airline’s Tahiti Family Special, which includes two free kids’ tickets with the purchase of two adult fares — starting from $1,687 per person.

Spa-Lovers Paradise
Clients looking to maximize their downtime can get far away from it all at Fiji’s Yasawa Island Resort and Spa, a luxury property on a remote Fijian island. With just 18 bungalows, a pristine white beach, a private landing strip and the most beachfront-adjacent spa in the country, the resort exemplifies the concept of “island time.” The romantic property has earned a long list of awards, including the “#2 Most Romantic Resort in Fiji” from Conde Nast Traveler and a fourth-place ranking on the “World’s Best Beaches” list from Expedia.com. Through Dec. 21, guests who stay five nights pay for just four nights and guests who stay seven nights pay for only five. Additionally, the resort’s Ultimate Spa Bonus, which costs just $450, allows guests to enjoy one 50-minute spa treatment per day for the length of their stay.
