Visitors to Fiji will most likely arrive at the international airport located on Viti Levu, the country's main island. Cloud 9 is a two-story platform literally anchored in the middle of the ocean and surrounded by nothing but turquoise-blue water and coral reefs. It features a bar, a wood-fired pizza oven, day beds, a diving platform and more. Guests arrive via boat or jet skis as part of an organized excursion or an activity arranged through their resort and can spend hours here eating, drinking, swimming, snorkeling or just chilling out.
My daughter and I visited Cloud 9 last year, and we loved jumping off the platform into the crystal-clear water, followed by lounging in the sun on the daybeds.
On the weekends, Cloud 9 features music from guest DJs, and it's available for group events as well.
