When only the best will do, the St. Regis Hotel Shanghai recently
launched “Lifestyle Butler Service” for guests seeking to explore
the area’s art world.
The hotel, the only one in Shanghai that offers 24-hour butler
service to all guests, moved to expand the service by offering
butlers to escort guests to private local artists’ showings and
galleries.
The hotel said guests increasingly are seeking highly personalized
trips with preference for some particular highlights, including
galleries, museums and exhibitions.
Guests of the hotel can now be escorted by a St. Regist butler to
meet local artists personally and visit their studios or their
private viewings at galleries or museums that are not open to the
public.
“Our aim is to provide the most personalized service to our guests
and the opportunity for them to explore the Shanghai art community.
More importantly, we provide a platform to promote and support
local artists and an opportunity for art lovers to meet their
