Singapore Airlines Caters to Kids

Dec 12, 2006

Singapore Airlines junior flyers can enjoy a special meal onboard Singapore Airlines, along with a variety of movies, interactive games and more.

Through December, the airline will be serving children’s meals in unique lunchboxes adorned by the cartoon character, SpongeBob SquarePants.

Available on all flights from Singapore (with the exception of the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur service), the meal box will contain favorites, such as spaghetti and chicken meatball, and snacks, like Oreo cookies and Ribena drink. Kids can also take their lunchboxes with them at the end of the flight.

To add to the junior inflight experience, Singapore Airlines will also be giving out Nickelodeon plush toys and activity kits from the Barnyard movie and the Rugrats animation series.

With the dedicated Young Ones channel on Singapore Airline’s KrisWorld Inflight Entertainment System, children of all ages can watch the a range of popular children’s television programs and cartoons or have their pick of the latest movies including “Barnyard, the Original Party Animals” and “Rugrats in Paris.”

Kids can also listen to the latest children’s music or explore one of the largest game menus in the sky that includes Super Mario Bros Deluxe, as well as Disney’s Winnie the Pooh.

Kids can also learn a few foreign phrases before they arrive at their destinations with KrisWorld’s interactive language learning program Berlitz Word Traveler that features 22 languages.
