Uniworld and Victoria Cruises Team Up in China

Victoria Cruisesa leading innovator and pioneer on China’s Yangtze Riverwill once again be the exclusive provider of Yangtze River sailings for Uniworld’s escorted China tours in 2005.

An American-managed company, Victoria Cruises operates the largest fleet of vessels on the Yangtze, with a five-star rating from the China National Tourism Administration. Uniworld River Cruises, Inc., newly acquired by the Travel Corporation, is a leading river cruise and tour company offering premium vacations in Europe, Russia, China and South America. The company provides all-inclusive tours for high-end travelers (in an all-English speaking, non-smoking environment).

“Victoria Cruises and Uniworld truly represent a joining of forces between the leading river cruise line in China and the world’s leading river cruise operator,” said Benson Wu, vice president of Victoria Cruises.

In addition, Victoria Cruises will expand its fleet to seven with the introduction of the Victoria Anna in April 2006. The Victoria Anna will be the largest ship in the company’s fleet and will boast the highest passenger capacity and the most suites of all vessels sailing the Yangtze.
