Launching May 1, SuperClubs Resorts is offering a Kids Stay,
Play & Eat Free promotion to encourage family travel to the
Caribbean. With a two-night minimum booking May 1 through Dec. 22,
Children ages two to 13 years stay free at participating resorts,
generating a daily savings of $100 for a family of four.
“Budget, destination and timing are the three biggest
prioritites for families today, and finding options that will
please working parents, grandparents, college-age kids and tiny
tots can be challenging,” said the company’s vice president of
marketing, Zein Nakash.
At Jamaica’s Starfish Trelawny, adventurous families will find
seemingly endless ways to entertain themselves, and affordably so.
A short swim away from the resort, teens have a private island,
whereas age-specific programs at the resort's Kid’s Club are
perfect for toddlers. Windsurfing and flying trapeze lessons are
available to all the thrill-seekers in the family, while the rest
may chose a retreat to the Blue Mahoe Spa. Nightly rates start at
$74 per adult and $50 per child.
Recently undergoing a $1.3 million renovation, Breezes Curacao
is offering affordable all-inclusive rates, starting at $129 per
night. Among the upgrades is the 12,000-square-foot Kid’s Club
featuring circus workshops and a bouncy boxing area.
Now that JetBlue Airways offers daily nonstop service between
New York and Puerto Plata, families are finding it easier to visit
SuperClubs Resorts’ recently renovated Breezes Puerto Plata. A
four-hour flight away from New York, the resort features the
largest spa in the Dominican Republic, the revamped Lighthouse Spa,
and a Mini-Club for kids. Rates begin at $60 per adult, per
night.
“All-inclusives are always a solid value for families,
especially when they offer a wide array of activities for all age
groups and interests without charging extra for them. This summer
especially, we’ve got the best vacation values for families,” Nakas
added.
