Jet into Jamaica like James Bond

Magellan Jets and Island Outpost have announced the Ultimate Bond Adventure Experience to Jamaica. The package will include private charter through Island Outposts’ preferred private jet charter company, Magellan Jets, to the exclusive Ian Fleming International Airport (IFIA) in Jamaica, and accommodations at GoldenEye and Strawberry Hill. IFIA is used exclusively for private jets and scheduled charters, and is situated less than three miles from GoldenEye.

GoldenEye has been the heart of low-key cool since James Bond author Ian Fleming first built the estate in the town of Oracabessa on Jamaica’s North Coast in the 1950s. For decades, this hideaway has played host to the glitterati and literati — writers, musicians and heads of state. GoldenEye is presently owned by Jamaica-raised Chris Blackwell, the founder of Island Records.

Set along the coast, among tropical gardens and around the calm waters of the property’s lagoon and secluded beaches, the 52-acre estate now encompasses 20 units. These include nine Beach Villas, two Lagoon Villas, six Lagoon Cottages and one Ocean Front Villa. Guests can also book Fleming’s own private three-bedroom villa, which also has two guest cottages. An added thrill for those renting the villa is Fleming’s writing desk, which still stands as he left it.

Strawberry Hill is located in the heart of one of the world’s most famous coffee-producing mountain ranges, Jamaica’s Blue Mountains. Strawberry Hill is 3,100 feet above sea level and features magnificent views of the Blue Mountains and Jamaica’s capital city of Kingston. On a clear day, it’s possible to see up to 40 miles from the property’s infinity-edge pool.

The James Bond Experience comprises a private jet charter with Magellan Jets to Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston; gourmet Jamaican-style catering and Bond-themed gift baskets onboard; ground transportation; two nights’ stay at Strawberry Hill; a helicopter transfer to GoldenEye; three nights’ accommodations at GoldenEye; dinner for two at Gazebo at GoldenEye; cocktails for two at Firefly, Noel Coward’s historic hilltop home at GoldenEye; two massages at Strawberry Hill; and a private jet charter though Magellan Jets to Ian Fleming International Airport to the destination of their choosing.

Guests who book a Magellan private jet to GoldenEye for a stay of four nights or more will receive a $200 resort credit and a private kayak safari tour for two. When they book a Magellan private jet to Strawberry Hill for a stay of four nights or more, they will also receive a $200 resort credit.

Magellan Jets and Island Outpost can accommodate parties of up to 10 people for this package. Rates for the Fleming Villa start at $5,500. Midsize Jet pricing is $5,300 per hour roundtrip. Full pricing based on specific dates and departure cities is available upon request.

Magellan Jets will offer those flying privately to Jamaica to stay at GoldenEye a one-time special offer on their fixed Voyager Membership.
