Families looking for an easy-to-budget summer family vacation can look to several of Jamaica’s all-inclusive resort brands. Several are offering a variety of special packages and deals targeted toward families.
Beaches Resorts has launched a Get-Togethers: Beaches Resorts’ Family Reunions package for groups who book a minimum three-night stay in five rooms or more, year-round. Families who book this package receive the services of their own family reunion concierge. They also get Save the Date family reunion postcards, a private Caribbean welcome reception, gourmet group dinners, a family portrait session courtesy of Beaches Resorts’ SnapShots studios, a complimentary 5x7 family portrait, private check-in for the entire family, family reunion T-shirts and a farewell cake. Families can also personalize their family reunion by adding Unique Bonding Moments, an additional selection of private family activities. The activities include snorkel trips, beachside bonfires, cruises on Beaches Resorts’ luxury Kitty Katt catamaran and family barbecue picnics. Those who visit during Beaches Resorts’ exclusive WonderFALL season in September or October receive room category upgrades and a complimentary Kitty Katt cruise for the whole group.
FDR Resorts is giving families a bonus when they book a minimum of five nights now through Dec. 17. Families who book a seven-night stay receive a $500 discount per full paying adult. Families booking a five- or six-night stay receive a $350 discount per full paying adult. Both of the FDR Resorts properties, Franklyn D. Resort & Spa and FDR Pebbles Resort offer two bedroom suites.
Iberostar Resorts has the Kids Stay Free promotion, available for travel now through December. The promotion represents a savings of $70-$100 per night, per child (maximum of two children), at its Iberostar Rose Hall Resort and Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort. Travel must be booked by June 30.
Starfish Trelawny has created a Single Parent promotion which waives single supplements for single parents looking to vacation with their children. Starfish Trelawny is also offering its Kids Stay, Play & Eat Free promotion where children 2-to-13-years old can stay free. This represents a savings of $100 daily for a family of four. Both offers are valid for travel through Dec. 22.
Sunset Resorts presents the Play in Paradise sale at the recently renovated Sunset Beach Resort & Spa, Montego Bay, and the Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort & Spa, Ocho Rios. Rates start at $140 per person, per night, based on double occupancy, plus two children. The Play in Paradise Sale is valid for travel from June 7-Sept. 30.
