Resort Montego Bay are giving travelers to Jamaica and Aruba less
to worry about. For the third straight year, the Holiday Inn
Sunspree Resorts are offering a “Risk-Free Sunspree” hurricane
guarantee program for traveling between June 1 and November 30.
This worry-free program will give travelers two types of
protection: pre-vacation, in the event of a hurricane before take
off, and mid-vacation, in the event of a hurricane once at the
hotel.
Pre-Vacation Protection allows travelers to rebook flights
without penalty into Sangster International Airport at Montego Bay
and Reina Beatrix International Airport in Aruba airports in case
of closures caused by a Category One or higher hurricane. In
addition, Holiday Inn will include a one-category room upgrade at
the resort upon arrival based on space availability.
In the event that a Category One or higher hurricane disrupts
hotel operations for more than 24 hours, Mid-Vacation Protection
ensures that guests receive a certificate valid for a free future
stay for the same duration as the original stay redeemable up to
one year. Future stays will be awarded subject to space
availability and certain blackout dates apply.
Although necessary precautions are always a must, blue skies and
sunny days in the Caribbean mean enjoying nearly 1,200 guestrooms
and suites where children under twelve eat and stay free. Adults
can hit the clubs at on-property nightclubs or try their hand at
the casino tables.
For seniors 60 and over, the resorts’ GoldenSpree program offers
exclusive privileges and amenities including dance, cocktail and
cooking classes, along with 10-20 percent discounts on dining and
