Azamara Offers Incentives for Back-to-Back Cruises

With the 684-passenger Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey sailing in the Far East, South America, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, agents and guests can design their own combinations ranging from 11 to 78 nights without repeated ports of call. Cruises offer overnights, sometimes two consecutively, in destinations such as Jerusalem, Paris, Bangkok and Hanoi, Vietnam.

Those who book consecutive voyages of eight days or fewer will receive $300 in savings per voyage for each stateroom. For cruises that are nine days or longer, each stateroom is entitled to $400 in savings for each cruise, and the savings are doubled on cruises sailing Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, if they are booked before July 31.

Clients who want to explore the Far East may choose the Azamara Journey’s Piraeus (Athens) to Hong Kong cruise departing Oct. 26, 2012. This 72-night itinerary combines six cruises — Holy Land, Egypt & Suez Canal; Luxor, Petra, Sinai & Eilat; Luxor Petra & Sinai; The Spice Coast & Ceylon; Burma & Andaman Sea Islands; and Vietnam & Thailand, Christmas and New Year — for an extremely rich experience. Plus, clients receive an opportunity to spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve in Hong Kong through a Land Discoveries excursion. The fare for the 72-night cruise starts at $13,994 per person, based on double occupancy (including the savings of $2,400).

Also in the region, Azamara Quest departs Feb. 29, 2012, on a 78-night cruise, sailing from Singapore to Piraeus (Athens), Greece. This itinerary collector’s dream combines six voyages — Trade Routes to the Orient; Japan & Taiwan; Manila, Sabah, Borneo, Komodo & Bali; Spice Route; Petra, Sinai & Luxor; and Holy Land, Egypt & Suez Canal.

Among the long itineraries that can be created is the Journey’s comprehensive 77-night voyage from Stockholm to Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy, departing June 27, 2012, and featuring 25 overnight stays, four of them for two consecutive nights. This allows guests to experience the nightlife in cities such as Copenhagen, Denmark, Amsterdam, Paris and Seville, Spain, and to explore deeper into the interior. This Extended Voyage features a unique Jazz in the Norwegian Fjords itinerary, which highlights the North Seas Jazz Festival, one of the world’s premiere music festivals.

In addition, Azamara offers pre- and post-cruise city packages and fully escorted cruise-tours, as well as three- to five-day land excursions that can be added to the front or back end of the cruise.
