Norwegian Cruise Line has continued its Partners First policy with the launch of a new booking engine, developed exclusively for agents. Accessible through BookNCL.com, the new booking tool gives travel partners the ability to easily and conveniently complete all aspects of a cruise reservation online.
Features include the ability to book multiple staterooms simultaneously and attach multiple promotional codes to each reservation. Independent air information, land packages, shore excursions, onboard entertainment and dining reservations can now all conveniently be added to a guest’s booking through the new engine, and additional special requests and amenities can be made. A quick search feature on all screens includes an option to search for agency information, including guests’ Latitudes Rewards numbers. Finally, agents now have the option to send cruise travel kits to alternate addresses, the ability to copy reservations and reinstate bookings.
In 2012, Norwegian plans to roll out additional online booking enhancements, including the ability to create and manage group blocks on an FIT basis, manage tour conductor credits, apply group amenities at a stateroom level and more.
