Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) recently announced its 2026 spring/summer cruise season, featuring an expanded lineup of European itineraries and other global destinations. The new offerings include more port-intensive voyages and overnight stays in select cities.
The cruise line is now accepting bookings for these 2026 itineraries, which span 225 new and available sailings across eight ships.
Whether they choose our seven-day sailings, longer immersive voyages, or cruises that begin and end in a new destination, we make it so our guests can vacation with ease with us from start to finish.
During the season, the line is emphasizing seven-day European itineraries with limited or no sea days, allowing guests to maximize their time in port. Some longer voyages will feature overnight stays in cities such as Reykjavik, Iceland; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Istanbul, Turkey. In total, NCL is offering 22 overnight stays in Europe for the season.
"Whether they choose our seven-day sailings, longer immersive voyages, or cruises that begin and end in a new destination, we make it so our guests can vacation with ease with us from start to finish,” said David J. Herrera, president of NCL.
The company is also introducing Helsinki, Finland, as a new homeport and will make inaugural calls to Portree, Scotland; Leirvik (Stord), Norway; and Palamos, Spain.
Highlights of the new season include Norwegian Sun offering Baltic cruises from June to October 2026, with embarkation in Copenhagen or Helsinki; Norwegian Sky sailing Northern Europe routes from April to September 2026, including British Isles voyages; Norwegian Star providing 10- and 11-day "Extraordinary Journeys" to Iceland between May and September 2026; and Norwegian Viva cruising the Western Mediterranean and Greek Isles from April to October 2026, with select voyages featuring an overnight in Istanbul.
Various ships, including Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Gem and Norwegian Pearl, will also offer Mediterranean and Greek Isles itineraries.
