The 13-year-old Leisure Pass Group, a smart card technology operator, offers travelers easy access to some of Europe’s top attractions and tours. The smart card system allows cashless transactions and for individual venues to monitor card usage as well as collect visitor information statistics.
The Prague City Card sightseeing pass, for instance, provides admission to attractions including the Prague Castle, Old Town Hall, Charles Bridge Towers and more. This city card is valid for two consecutive days and costs $48 for adults and $33 for children and students. The fou- day card costs $75 for adults and $53 for children.
The Prague City Card is one of several smart cards offered by the Leisure Pass Group. Other city cards in Europe include the Yorkshire Pass, the Lyon Pass, the Paris Pass and the London Pass, which gives card-carriers access to more than 55 attractions in England’s capital city.
New this year, the Leisure Pass Group has expanded into Germany with the launch of the Berlin Sightseeing Pass. The all-inclusive card gives users access to 53 of the city’s leading tourist attractions, including The Jewish Museum and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum, as well as free access to the Berlin public transportation network, a river cruise and a hop-on, hop-off bus tour of the city.
“The Leisure Pass Group is well on its way to powering 4 million attraction visits every year, and the addition of the Berlin Sightseeing Pass really underlines our commitment to European expansion,” said Amanda Truman, director of product marketing, Leisure Pass Group.
The Berlin Sightseeing Pass is available in two- and three-day durations. Prices start at $98 for adults and $48 for children or $117 for adults and $55 for children, respectively. Users also receive a 96-page city sightseeing guide.
Commission is 4 percent with performance incentives up to 7 percent.
