Cultural Adventures for Kids From Big Five Tours

Big Five Tours & Expeditions has created Precious Journeys, a collection of new tours for families with children ages 5 to 11. The trips cater to young guests by providing culturally enriching experiences in destinations such as India, Kenya and Ecuador. During these tours, young travelers learn about the geology, zoology and archaeology of their chosen locale. 

For example, on the Ecuador: From Machalilla to Zuleta tour, guests will explore and excavate an archaeological site, swim in Drake’s Bay and visit a wildlife sanctuary in Isla de la Plata. During the India — Saving Tigers tour, children will have the opportunity to complete a three-day Junior Naturalist Program that teaches the basics of ecology, how to identify species, nature photography and more. They’ll even spend a day on safari tracking tigers, bison and deer.
