Discovery at Sea Invites Families to Learn Together

Earlier this year, Discovery Communications and Princess Cruises collaborated on Discovery at Sea, an interactive family vacation experience. Princess now offers Stargazing at Sea through the partnership, in which a specialist discusses the folklore around the cosmos and teaches guests how to find their bearings and identify the major constellations.

Other themed events include Shark Week at Sea, based on Discovery’s popular annual television event “Shark Week,” which schools adults and children alike on the facts and myths about the ocean’s infamous predators. Shore excursions and activities focused around hit Discovery and Animal Planet shows such as “MythBusters” and “Deadliest Catch” are also available.
